My poor baby boy!
Last night, I was at my mom's house and Alex suddenly fell forward and leaned on me and started shaking really bad. He grabbed a chunk of my hair and wouldn't let go, I could not get his hands to unclench. His eyes were rolling into the back of his head and he got really pale. I called 911 and THEY PUT ME ON HOLD!?!?! They finally answered and started asking a million and one questions and my dad was walking out the door with Alex saying "We're taking him to the hospital ourselves, we can't wait" so I told the woman "We're driving him to the ER, bye." Then we got there and he threw up three times all over the place (including all over me of course) and he was running a really high fever. The ER doc said he thinks it's just something called a febiril seizure where he has a seizure caused by a high fever which would have been caused by something else. He sent us home and said to see Alex's regular Dr today. We went to his regular dr this morning and because of Alex's prematurity, they want to make sure there are no other underlying issues so they're having us get an MRI and EEG done but not till July 7th cuz that's the soonest they have available. So now we just wait and see what happens. He's acting ok today but he's really tired and still has a fever :0(

Best Friends a Girl could ask for!
.jpg)

Anyway, some of my friends have been there for me through thick and thin. They are the best friends ever.
I've known Jen since I was about 19, that's 7 years! That's the longest time I've had a friend. I love her to death and I am so grateful to have her in my life. We have been through some rough times, and our friendship has been tested, but it's there forever! I love you Jen!

Kristy is Jen's Sister-in-law. That's how I met Kristy. We have been friends for about 4 years now I think and she has always been a wonderful person. We instantly became friends as soon as we met and I love that between her and Jen, they've basically given me a second family, with extra sisters, brothers, kids (Not sure if they'd be like my own kids or nieces and nephews or cousins!!!!), another mom (Love you Toni!!!), and lots of others. Love you Kristy!
(KRISTY ASKED ME TO REMOVE HER PICTURE, THERE WILL BE A NEW ONE SOON!)Marti is another one of my girls. She and I have been friends for about 3 years and she is one of the nicest people I know. She will do everything she can to make others happy. Unfortunately she moved about an hour and fifteen minutes away and I know that's not far but we don't get to see each other much anymore. I love you and I miss you lots Marti!

Last but definitely not least, Mandi. Now this is a strange story to some people but Mandi is one of my BEST friends and her and I have never met. We began talking about 2 years ago today when she found me on Myspace because her and I had something in common... we had both lost our babies around the same gestational age. We connected right away and it was as if we had known each other for years. For a long time we were talking every day, for hours at a time, about everything... our babies, guys, friends, food lol. She doesn't have internet right now but we still talk on the phone and I'm hoping to be able to go meet her soon. When she gets married, she wants me to be in her wedding too! Mandi means so much to me and even though we've never met, I can honestly say I love her and I don't ever want to lose her friendship. Love you Mandi!

1920 what???
I got to the day care to pick up Alex one day and saw a sign that said "Vintage photos are here!" I ignored it because I had not ordered any pictures of Alex. Come to find out, they tricked us all! LOL. They took pictures of all the kids dressed up and everything when the parents didn't know and then they brought all the pictures and let us order them if we liked them. Of course all the parents would like them, it's our kids!!! Kids are always cute! So I saw the pictures and I couldn't say no! Here they are.

Pop-Pop

We came to Texas to visit my grandpa (my dad's step dad) because he has cancer and we don't know how long he has to live. I wish we were able to spend more time with him because this is probably the last time we'll see him. Since I didn't get to say good bye to the last grandfather that I lost and I didn't even get to tell him I love him, I just want to say "I love you Pop-Pop, probably more than you'll ever know. I'm so glad that I got to see you this week and spend time with you. I'll miss you when we go home today but I'll never ever forget you. I love you so much."

San Antonio River Walk
San Antonio has a river called the San Antonio River. Around that river is a walkway and next to the walkway are lots of stores and restaraunts and theaters and things which make up the River Center Mall. The River Walk is over 17,000 feet of paved walkway and 20 bridges. There are lots of beautiful plants and trees surrounding the river. Bands play along the river walk, there are restaraunts where the seating is outside so that you're actually sitting along the river. Parts of movies have been filmed there. It is a beautiful place to see and there are many interesting things there.
Oh Deer!
Where my Grandparents live, there is lots of wild life, especially deer. There were deer everywhere. They were in people's back yards, they would walk right up onto the patios. There weren't even just one or two deer, there were tons of them.

My grandparents have a big fountain that goes down into a little lake thing. It's built out of rocks and it's probably about a total of 3 feet high and maybe 4 feet wide in the lake part. Anyway, every night I heard a bull frog outside so finally I decided to try to find it. I got a couple really good pictures of him hiding in the rocks..JPG)
That same night, I went inside and my dad said "Look, this is what you have to be careful of" I went over and looked and right on the kitchen floor was a dying scorpion. Scary!!! It was small but it's scary to think that they're in the house like that. My dad had already sprayed all around the house for my grandparents so the scorpion was dying as soon as it got into the house..JPG)
