Baby Elizabeth...

Well, my sister told us some sad things today. My parents noticed last night that there was something wrong with the baby's feet. The way my dad put it was "One of them looks like it's always bent back towards her ankle." He also said that her feet are really big for a baby her size. Today the Dr's did an ultrasound on her kidney's to see if there are any problems because they think she has Jaundice and they said that in a couple weeks they are also going to do X-rays on her feet because they think that she may have some deformities. Hopefully everything will be fine but either way, look at those pictures and tell me she's not a beautiful baby, I dare ya! LOL I think she's beautiful!

I'm an Aunt!

This morning at 5:31 am, my little sister Michelle gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Elizabeth. She was 6 pounds 2 ounces and 18 inches long. She's got lots of hair just like Alex did when he was born. She's so adorable.

Angel Jakob's Star

On Saturday, my friend Marti came to visit and gave me a little plant for my new house. She then handed me a stuffed animal and said "This is for Jakob." I said "Do you mean Alex?" She said "No, Jakob." Jen said the same thing that I had said, "No, you mean Alex" and Marti said "No, it's for Jakob, I got it for his birthday." It was a blue Dragon holding a star and when you push the button on his hand, it plays "You are my shining star." Then Marti told me that there was a code to go online and name a real star in Jakob's memory. She said that when she found it online it said "The closest you can get to Heaven is the stars" and she instantly thought of my baby boy. Marti is such a sweetheart and one of my best friends. I got online as soon as I could and named Jakob's star. This was one of the sweetest gifts I've ever gotten. I love you Marti, thank you for thinking of me and my angel!

Welcome home!

Well, I got a new house. Of course, my parents had to help me get it. I have horrible credit due to some big mistakes that I've made, but I'm working on making it better. The house is actually a trailer, but it's in a decent neighborhood and after we do some work to the house, it'll be great. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms will be mine, one for Alex, and one will be the "office" and it will have the futon in it in case I have someone spend the night or whatever. One of the bedrooms has a large bathroom in it with a big huge jetted tub. That room is the smaller bedroom so I don't know if I want it to be mine so I can have the bathroom in my room or if I just want to take the bigger room. Decisions, decisions. The living room is huge. That's actually my favorite part is the big living room. The yard is a really good size too, but the old owner never took care of it so there is really no grass in the back yard and hardly any in the front yard so I'll need to put down some grass seed or something to make it look better. Overall, I really like the house and I'm so glad that my parents were able to help me get it so that I can finally feel independent and live in my own place! I'll post pictures once I take some!
